Skin Physiology for Spa Professionals 101

In this one day class students will be taught the essential pieces of how the skin functions and what it is doing on a day to day basis to protect our bodies and keep us looking and functioning in a healthy way. After passing the exam, students will be awarded their certificate of completion.

Students will also learn about the various functions of collagen and elastin in maintaining the skin and how a person's lifestyle and diet will affect them over their lifetime. This is a very important subject for estheticians to understand and be able to explain to their customers.
