Spa Vision Group is thrilled to announce the addition of a new educational facility located in Port Moody, BC (right between Vancouver and Langley BC) where training and courses will be provided to individuals and groups seeking to become certified as Medical Estheticians.
As local providers of high-quality, French medical spa platforms IPL+ All Color Laser Hair Removal and StarBody Holistic Bodysculpting, Spa Vision Group is excited to extend it’s services into more deeply developing our clients’ knowledge base in regards to a multitude of medical esthetic modalities.
Subjects to be covered in Spa Vision Medical Esthetician Training courses will be:
- Medical Spa Operations & Best Practices
- Skin & Body Physiology
- Skin Care & Chemical Peels
- Aesthetic IPL & Laser Operations
- PRP & Microneedling (*additional certification required for PRP)
- Body Contouring (including Cryolipolysis, Thermolipolysis, Radio-Frequency & StarBody)
- Spa Sales & Marketing
- Finance & Budgeting for Medical Spas
Courses will be provided both by the Founder of the Spa Vision Group, Taylor Opheim as well as other industry experts with appropriate backgrounds for each course.
As well, this medical esthetics school will be providing laser hair removal, body contouring, skin care and microneedling services to consumers in Langley, Aldergrove & Abbotsford in partnership with Spa Vision Group’s retail brand RX Super Spa, establishing the second location for the upcoming brand of retail medical spas in Canada and the U.S.. We are currently seeking partners for new locations in Canada and the USA for both Spa Vision Academy and RX Super Spa.
Each 12 day Medical Esthetician training course offered by Spa Vision Academy can be broken down into concentrated mini courses lasting 1-3 days depending on the subject and time needed for theory & practice, and can also be extended into a 15 day Medical Esthetics Entrepreneurship course which adds an additional 3 days of business and finance focused training for graduates to be able to put together a proper business plan and launch into their own businesses.

Spa Vision Academy is located at Unit 3 & 4 – 86 Moody Street, Port Moody, BC, V3H 2P6. Parking is available on site, and multiple eating options are in the area. It is a 1200sqft facility with a maximum class size of 10. Spa Vision Academy adheres to all Fraser Health Authority, & Port Moody city regulations in regards to the operation of the business.
